Luminous Offerings Project Series : Workshop 3

Full Moon Dance & Lantern Making Highlights

October o8, 2025, Barwon Downs, VIC

Luminous Offerings continues to activate and nourish women’s creative wellbeing through movement, making and storytelling. Thirteen women gathered for the Full Moon Dance & Lantern Making workshop, the third session in the series, bringing together returning participants and many new faces, curious and excited to explore the practice.

The dress code was white, and the space was transformed with lighting, sound, sensory areas and creative props.

Honouring the full moon after the Spring Equinox, participants crafted moon-shaped lanterns using tissue paper, pressed flowers and foliage. Dance unfolded outdoors on green grass and then indoors with group activities and a lantern procession.

The session closed with a full moon visualisation, AfterMoon Tea and a shared Lantern Light Up.

“I have to comment on the vast array of delicious activities you planned out for the day, Elle. Very well thought out and it flowed so effortlessly (from a receiver’s perspective anyway! After hosting events myself, I appreciate the work and energy that goes in before, during and after!)
I particularly enjoyed the getting messy with glue, during lantern making and I LOVED the feather and partner work- which is intriguing… I don’t usually like partner work, but the fact the contact dancing was curated and we had guidance throughout it felt reassuring.
The collective you attracted worked harmoniously together, reflecting on where you’re at in your magical journey. Thank you for your energy and love and I can’t wait to attend another one od your offerings”.

“My body, heart and soul were deeply replenished by joining the luminous full moon workshop. To be held in an exquisite circle of women, without any judgment and with open hearts is true soul medicine. To dance, express my creativity and witness other women also in their magic, lifted my spirit. An incredible journey for a 3 hour workshop. It felt timeless. Thank you for sharing your soul gifts to the world. I feel inspired and uplifted”.

“It was a special moment of creativity and magic woven through dance and play. We followed our lanterns, we mirrored each other. The reflections of ourselves beaming back right at us. A wonderfully held safe and sacred space. A bright moon shaped gem for my memories”.

“I always wonder what magic will be created with Elle and Wild Honey. Gathered with women in a space of illumination, adorning our lanterns we lovingly made with dried flowers and dancing up the full moon. Reflecting our hearts through movement, play and stillness. Elle and Amanda hold a nurturing and powerful space to feel deeply into ourselves as individuals and as women. Beauty-ful ❤️.”
